We sell unfinished floors to people who may or may not have ever seen a 12′ long, 7″ wide, 3/4 thick board, much less a full pallet. In other words, in order to keep our A+ rating, our products do not come with surprises. For example, our Heart Pine is sold based on percentage ranges measuring heart content. What is heart content? So, if our customers get boards that do not fit that range, they would a have a right to be upset; because unlike most, we are not selling an “overall” heartwood. Our heart content range is visible on the face of every board.
