Custom finishes
Using our 1×8 Mill Run Heart Pine we have our finish partner apply green options such as Monocoat and high traffic solutions such as Bona. Do you hate the bevel? No problem, keep the edges straight and the ends too if want all 12′ boards. We can explain the process in 10 minutes and save you so much money, you might find it “too good to be true”. With a Euro or Character grade white oak as both ignore a characteristic that would normally cause a #1 to grade as #2, for example. Why is this done? You add length with lower prices compared to the #1 common White Oak and quality compared to the #2 common. Our 1×8 Mill Run Heart Pine does the same thing using higher graded boards, C & better plus Heart Pine. Small defects to a small portion of board may exist to capture the 12′ length. December 2022, 7600 square feet available, 1 x 8 (3/4 x 6 6/7) t/g with ends matched and a micro-bevel. Our 12′ boards are sorted and nestled into 10′ bundles with average over 8′. The finish? An UV aluminum oxide Bona coating is applied to our flooring which has a 25-year residential warranty and a 5-year commercial warranty.
