Smooth all four sides, or s4s indicates that the board has been finished on 4 of the sides but has no profile, i.e. tongue and groove or v-groove. We offer s4s in #2 grade and Clear Southern Pine. Our customers use these boards for trim, windows and or walls. S4s gives you 4 smooth, visually appealing surfaces that can then be painted, sanded, or stained.
